Variety of Community Based Assessments

Dudley lodge are able to provide a wide variety and combination of assessment arrangements in order to meet the needs of children and their families and to provide detailed information for the decision making process. For this purpose we provide a range of community based assessments.

The exact programme of assessment work would be tailored to the individual needs and requirements of each family. Possible options include:-

• Initial intensive assessment
• Six to twelve week assessment
• Specific issues assessment
• Support packages.
• Out of hours assessments
• Lengthy observation visits of up to 7 hrs per day
• Assessments of Children
• Assessments of children's relationships with their parents.
• Assessments of the risk that parents may present to the children.
• Assessments of parents present capacity to change in a reasonably foreseeable future in order to improve deficient parenting
• Role modelling
• Direct work with children and their families
• Individual work with parents.
