It’s student volunteering week this week, a perfect opportunity and reason to volunteer with us. You don’t have to be a student to volunteer but if you are it gives you great work experience for your CV and we are happy to provide references to those who request one.
Our volunteer position is as Children and Families Volunteer Workers at both our Birmingham and Coventry centres. Volunteers need to commit to the role for at least 6 months and be available for at least 2-6 hours of volunteering per week.
Dudley Lodge is a UK registered non-profit making charity and company limited by guarantee. Dudley Lodge was established in 1895 and is one of the leading Family Assessment Centres in England and Wales.
Volunteering provides many opportunities, one of our volunteers has now progressed to become one of our Bank workers. She said ‘I loved volunteering and wish I’d known about it sooner. I always tell people at University about it and encourage them to volunteer. It worked perfectly around my home life and University as you only have to give up a few hours per week.’
