Phoenix Psychological Services- Therapeutic Work

Dudley Lodge is proud to work in partnership with Phoenix Psychological Services, to provide in-house counselling and psychotherapy to parents/carers who are identified as being in need of therapeutic support/intervention during their assessment.
There are a range of therapy options that can be provided to parents/carers who are experiencing difficulties, which are tailored to suit the individuals’ identified needs. Support can be provided for (but not exclusive of):
- Family relationship work.
- Anger management.
- Anxiety.
- Confidence and self-esteem work.
- Counselling.
- Attachment problems.
- Depression, persistent feelings of sad or unstable mood.
- Post-traumatic stress
- Bereavement and loss.
The therapeutic sessions take place on a one-to-one basis, with a qualified psychologist at the Centre and are inclusive of family assessment cost. We are fortunate to be able to provide successful parents/carers the opportunity to continue to engage in the therapeutic work on a voluntary basis at the Centre for up to six months post-assessment; to support their health and wellbeing whilst their children remain in their care.
