Apple Doughnut Slice
These apple slice doughnuts are the perfect snack to get your child eating healthier this Summer. Avoid the junk food of crisps, sweets and chocolate with our healthy alternative. We have a range of different snack options so be sure to check back each week to see new ones!
Ingredients:
1 Apple (will make 4 slices)
Peanut butter – although you can use almond butter too.
Topping of your choice: raisons, blueberries, chia seeds, sunflower seeds
Method:
Cut the apple into slices, removing the core either with a corer or removing the middle section once sliced to leave a doughnut shaped apple slice.
Spread peanut butter around the slice until evenly covered.
Add toppings if desired and serve.
