Christmas Events and Thank You's!

2019 was a busy year at Dudley Lodge and Bonner House, especially in the month of December!

Staff worked really hard over the festive period to ensure that the resident's Christmas was as special as it could be while staying with us.

Both centres had day trips out to see Santa, Coventry visited Hatton Country World, and Birmingham ventured to Millenium Point. Both days were lovely, and certainly helped us to get both staff and residents in the Christmas spirit.

Over the Christmas holidays, residents were able to take part in a number of activities such as, creating their own Christmas Eve Boxes for their children, making Reindeer food to leave out on Christmas Eve, and crafting their own seasonal cards to send out to family, friends and some residents even sent theirs to our staff.

What really made our Christmas, was being able to provide the residents (both parents and children) with gifts to open on Christmas morning. We would not have been able to do this without the amazing support and donations from local and national individuals and organisations.

Mission Christmas have provided gifts for us in previous years, and again did not disappoint us this year, by being able to fill a member of staffs car with a load of gifts for our children. We could see how hard you had worked to collect the donations and organise, and we are truly grateful to everyone involved in the process, it is fantastic, so a massive thank you!

We would also like to thank West Midlands Police, for their donations, not only did they collect a huge amount of gifts they also took the time to wrap all the gifts and deliver them to Bonner House! The time and effort you all dedicated is hugely appreciated by us all at Bonner House and our residents were made up by the gifts they received. Thank You!

Childs Farm very kindly donated a number of packages with all kinds of toiletries and useful lotions and potions for our families at Bonner House. We really do appreciate your thoughtfulness and these gifts were a great help to our families. Thank you!

There was a number of other donations from individuals and other organisations and we would like to thank each and everyone of you for thinking of Dudley Lodge! We really were overwhelmed with everyone's support and the difference you all made to our families over a difficult time was really touching. 

So Dudley Lodge would like to say thank you, and have a great 2020!
